Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley is a modern hotel featuring 200 rooms, a restaurant, bar, and a robust events operation. We seek passionate Guest Service Agents for our Front Office team, available in full-time and part-time roles.
Role Overview
This role suits individuals eager to provide exceptional hospitality by warmly welcoming guests and managing their journey from check-in to check-out. Candidates must be adaptable to rotating shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and create a positive arrival experience
- Efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes
- Address guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest accounts
- Promote the hotel's amenities, services, and loyalty programs
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage teams to enhance guest satisfaction
- Resolve guest issues confidently and courteously
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to hotel protocols
- Support daily front office operations
- Foster a collaborative, guest-centric team environment
Candidate Profile
- Experience in hotel front office or customer service preferred
- Strong passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and a positive demeanor
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to stay composed and efficient under pressure
- Proficient with computers and familiar with property management systems; Opera Cloud knowledge is a plus
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Availability for rotating shifts including public holidays
- Must have unlimited work rights in Australia
