About Us
Gladstone Hospital's Operational Services team ensures the smooth functioning of hospital operations so that clinical teams can prioritize patient care excellence. Our support spans across Gladstone Hospital, Gladstone Community Health Service, and nearby facilities, covering services like food provision, cleaning, porterage, ward assistance, linen and waste management, and fire and security protocols.
Role Overview
- Assist with moving patients safely between appointments and treatment locations.
- Collaborate with nursing and healthcare teams to aid patient care activities such as lifting, turning, escorting, shaving, and personal care assistance.
- Provide clinical support through completing various non-clinical duties that enhance healthcare delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming environment by performing designated cleaning tasks.

- Effective communicator who enjoys helping others and establishing positive interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Capable of working independently and reliably, yet contributing supportively within a team.
- Committed to infection prevention and adherence to safe work procedures.

Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay ranging from $40.42 to $43.12.
- Employer superannuation contribution of 12.75%.
- Leave loading at 17.5%.
