About the Role
Walt Disney World invites applications for the role of Senior Pricing Analyst to influence consumer-centered pricing strategies directly impacting resort operations. As part of a collaborative and fast-paced team, you will analyze and execute pricing initiatives designed to maximize business profitability and foster a culture of excellence and ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive data and financial modeling to assess the effects of pricing initiatives, monitor critical business metrics, and identify opportunities for ongoing improvements.
- Support project management and execution of pricing strategies ensuring smooth market implementation.
- Handle complex, large-scale data sets to extract actionable insights that shape strategic recommendations for key stakeholders and leadership.
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams within Pricing to align efforts and ensure sustainable success across departments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver precise work under minimal supervision within deadlines.
- Strong autonomous work ethic coupled with proactive attitudes and commitment to accurate, high-quality results.
- Experience adopting advanced analytics tools and modern data techniques to automate processes and enhance modeling efficiency.
- Capacity to operate effectively amid ambiguity while influencing stakeholders at varied organizational levels.
- Solid data analytics background with proficiency in database tools such as SQL, Snowflake, and Tableau, including query writing and financial model creation.
- Desired experience includes pricing strategy, forecasting, and revenue or yield management.
- Familiarity with Disney Resort operations, organizational units, and product offerings is advantageous.
- Strong business insight complemented by strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or a related quantitative field is required.
- Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this Florida-based position is $109,800 to $134,200 annually, with final base pay influenced by internal equity, candidate expertise, and geographical factors. Compensation may include a bonus and/or long-term incentive awards along with comprehensive benefits like health coverage, savings plans, educational opportunities, and unique perks offered by Disney.
