Role overview
Cartier is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner in Munich to support Retail leadership with practical, business-aligned HR guidance. In this role, you will work closely with HR specialists and managers to help shape people strategies, strengthen retail performance, and support a positive, inclusive workplace.
What you will do
- Serve as a dependable HR advisor to retail leaders, turning business goals into focused people initiatives.
- Partner with HR specialists to coordinate integrated support across HR activities.
- Contribute to the end-to-end talent agenda, including recruiting support, performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning.
- Help improve organisational design and guide change initiatives while reinforcing Cartier’s values.
- Use HR platforms such as Workday to run processes efficiently and analyze HR data to inform recommendations.
- Support employee relations matters and coach managers on performance management and policy application.
- Assist with salary review cycles and compensation and benefits programs, including advice on reward-related actions.
Your background
- 2 to 4 years of experience in HR, preferably in retail or luxury, with some exposure to HR business partnering.
- Proven ability to work well with stakeholders and contribute to HR initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Comfort with data analysis, trend spotting, and building practical HR solutions.
- Working familiarity with HRIS tools such as Workday and other HR technologies, along with solid Excel skills.
- Organised and structured working style with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Curious mindset and interest in ongoing learning, HR best practices, and industry developments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
- Sound problem-solving ability, plus integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Fluent in both German and English.
