UX Designer

About the Role

Intrinsic invites a passionate UX Designer to join a cutting-edge software development team focused on delivering innovative products across diverse industries. This role involves crafting engaging user experiences that elevate our product offerings to new heights. Please note employment depends on securing a contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate collaboration between technical and business teams to create, prototype, and finalize design solutions.
• Engage actively in agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Coordinate with the Product Director, CTO, and Scrum Master to ensure timely product delivery exceeding client expectations.
• Serve as a user advocate by translating feedback into compelling UX designs.
• Lead by example to foster team cohesion and develop high-quality features.
• Create, prototype, and launch new products targeting emerging markets.

• Custom AI and machine learning implementations.
• Operational and simulated training solutions.
• Enterprise cloud and offline environments.
• Augmented and virtual reality plus live virtual constructive simulations.
• UX/UI prototyping in product development.
• Big data analytics.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience within diverse software development teams.
• Minimum 2 years’ involvement in Agile delivery frameworks.
• Proven ability to design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity front-end designs for easy user interaction.
• Experience of 1+ year with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools like Sketch, InVision, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Miro.

Preferred Qualifications

• Track record of building and shipping products.
• Experience collaborating with Department of Defense, aerospace, or AI/ML sectors.
• Over 3 years of production and operational experience on consumer digital products.
• 3+ years in UX design roles and project management within design or UX teams.
• Eagerness to learn emerging technologies.
