Role Overview

The UX Designer position involves crafting user-centered product experiences that surpass customer expectations. This contract opportunity requires motivated professionals skilled in building and refining UX features to elevate Intrinsic's product lines to the next level. Employment depends on contract award.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate collaboration between development and business teams to design, prototype, and implement creative UX solutions
Engage actively in agile ceremonies and sprint cycles to contribute to team goals
Coordinate closely with Product Director, CTO, and Scrum Master to ensure timely delivery of high-quality platform features
Serve as a dedicated user advocate, converting user feedback into actionable UX designs
Lead by example to foster team cohesion and develop impactful product functionalities that exceed client expectations
Design, develop, and launch new products targeting emerging markets

Modern software engineering
Customized AI/ML applications
Operational and simulated training platforms
Enterprise cloud and offline solutions
Augmented/virtual reality and live virtual constructive simulations
Product development combined with UX/UI prototyping
Big data analytics

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or closely related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience working on diverse software development teams
At least 2 years in Agile environments
Proven ability in designing wireframes, prototypes, and detailed front-end designs for seamless user interaction
One year or more working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Miro

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in building and launching products
Background in DoD projects, aerospace enterprises, or AI/ML sectors
Over 3 years of experience supporting consumer digital products in production and operations
3+ years in UX design roles
3+ years managing projects within UX or design teams
Willingness and aptitude to learn new technologies as needed

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000
