Overview
We invite applications for a Static Physiotherapist position based within the Medicine Team at Queen's Hospital Burton. The role blends clinical responsibilities with leadership development and involves managing patients with varied complex physical and psychological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physiotherapeutic assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for patients presenting with diverse and complex conditions.
- Manage your caseload independently, maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
- Participate as an active member of the Respiratory on-call service and contribute within a rota system covering evenings and weekends.
- Support Team Leaders with operational aspects of daily team management.
- Engage in continued professional development through training, peer reviews, and clinical discussions with access to senior physiotherapist support when necessary.

The role operates within a large and busy hospital setting, with notable statistics including an average of 4,810 outpatient appointments daily, ranking as the fourth busiest Trauma & Orthopaedic outpatient department nationally. The hospital network sees over 1,100 emergency patients daily and carries out nearly 33,700 planned surgical operations annually across 57 theatres, emphasizing the dynamic clinical environment you will join.
