About the Role
Join the team at Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille located in Saint Augustine, FL, as a part-time Server. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverage service including taking orders, delivering items to guests, and clearing tables.
- Ensure the station is properly set up and clean before, during, and after shifts.
- Welcome guests warmly and explain any specials or promotions to enhance their experience.
- Enter orders accurately into the Point of Sale system to communicate effectively with the kitchen.
- Retrieve and verify orders from the kitchen and deliver them promptly to guests.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal service.
- Comply fully with legal and restaurant regulations, including laws related to serving alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain a positive attitude and teamwork spirit.
- Focus on becoming a proactive seller rather than just an order taker.
- Pay close attention to detail and follow all company standards for quality and safety.
- Adhere strictly to safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Preferably a minimum of one year of prior experience serving guests.
- Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Possess a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for extended periods.
- Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency and cleanliness.
- Availability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
