Role Overview
As a Sales Assistant, you will be part of a small, dedicated team delivering outstanding customer experiences and promoting fresh baked products. No prior experience is necessary; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are valued. You'll engage directly with customers, assist with merchandising and marketing efforts, and have the chance to learn baking skills including making scones and Danishes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service and build connections with regular patrons.
- Merchandise products and help implement marketing campaigns within the bakery.
- Maintain cleanliness in the bakery and support production tasks, including some baking duties.
Requirements
- Committed to delivering a friendly and personable experience to customers.
- Preferably experienced in handling cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Retail experience is an advantage.
- Reliable, self-driven, eager to acquire new skills, and enjoys working with others in a team environment.
- Physically able to stand and walk continuously, use both hands frequently with gripping, operate POS systems constantly, and lift/carry weights up to 22 kg with bending and reaching as necessary.
