Position Summary

Join COBS Bread as a Sales Assistant providing a warm, friendly bakery experience. This role involves interacting with customers, merchandising products, supporting marketing campaigns, maintaining bakery cleanliness, and assisting with baking. No prior experience is required; enthusiasm and eagerness to learn are valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a small team to deliver exceptional customer service and build relationships with regulars.
• Manage product merchandising and contribute to marketing campaign execution.
• Help maintain cleanliness of the bakery.
• Assist in baking production duties and learn baking skills on the job.

Physical Demands

• Continuous standing and walking throughout shifts.
• Frequent use of both hands.
• Regular lifting and carrying up to 7.5 kg; bending, reaching below shoulder level.
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 kg; pushing, pulling, crouching, and reaching above shoulder level.
• Consistent use of computer/POS systems.

Additional Information

The role may require availability for early mornings (as early as 6 AM), evenings, weekends, and holidays. Salary: $15.00 to $16.50 per hour

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, weekend availability expected
