Role Overview
The Rewards Specialist will support Tata Electronics' burgeoning semiconductor manufacturing division by managing compensation, benefits, incentive programs, and rewards analytics. This position requires collaboration with HR, Finance, Payroll, and business stakeholders to ensure competitive and compliant rewards strategies that attract, motivate, and retain skilled personnel across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs, including participating in salary reviews, promotions, and merit cycles, ensuring pay equity aligned with company philosophy.
- Conduct market benchmark analyses utilizing industry surveys focused on semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, and technology sectors to maintain competitive salary structures, including job evaluation and grading activities.
- Support administration of variable pay plans such as short-term incentives, performance rewards, retention schemes, and project-based incentives, including payout validation and communication.
- Coordinate employee benefit programs encompassing medical insurance, wellness initiatives, retirement and welfare schemes; liaise with vendors and assist in employee communications and query resolution.
- Collaborate with payroll to guarantee accurate compensation processing, maintain compliance with labor laws and internal policies, and support audits related to compensation and benefits.
- Prepare detailed dashboards and reports analyzing compensation trends, workforce costs, attrition factors, hiring competitiveness, and overall reward program effectiveness to inform decisions.
- Assist in annual budgeting, manpower cost planning, and tracking expenditures against budgets while supporting workforce planning analytics.
- Participate in developing and implementing employee recognition programs alongside HR and business leaders to enhance employee appreciation across manufacturing and engineering teams.
- Drive process improvements and automation in rewards management through digital system enhancements and HRIS integration to elevate efficiency and employee experience.
- Engage closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Payroll, and leadership to provide compensation insights aimed at attracting and retaining competitive semiconductor talent.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses an MBA or PGDM degree in Human Resources, Finance, or similar discipline.
- Brings 5 to 6 years of practical experience in Compensation & Benefits, Rewards, Total Rewards, or HR Analytics.
- Preferably experienced in manufacturing, electronics, semiconductors, or engineering-intensive environments.
- Exhibits strong analytical capabilities with advanced knowledge in MS Excel and HR analytics tools.
- Familiarity with compensation survey methods, salary benchmarking practices, job evaluation techniques, and incentive plan frameworks.
- Knowledgeable about payroll processing, statutory compliance requirements, and benefits administration.
- Demonstrates exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication finesse, and problem-solving skills to influence compensation strategies effectively.
