About the Role
The Retail Store Supervisor role at Canadian Tire Corporation involves overseeing store operations in a busy retail environment, providing leadership to staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective management of sales, personnel, and merchandising tasks.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Delegate responsibilities to sales team members according to store needs.

- Approve payment transactions made by cheque.
- Authorize merchandise returns in accordance with store policies.
- Develop and maintain employee work schedules.
- Engage in direct sales of merchandise to customers.
- Compile and present reports on sales performance, merchandising efforts, and personnel issues.
- Address and resolve concerns including customer inquiries, complaints, and inventory shortages.
- Supervise daily activities of store employees to ensure smooth operations.
