About the Role

Located in the scenic mountains, Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa delivers a premier luxury experience with a range of amenities such as upscale accommodations, fine dining, a championship golf course, equestrian stables, a full-service spa, and a broad spectrum of guest activities. As a Resort Operations Manager focused on evening operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless overnight guest experiences and supervising the night shift team, all while upholding the resort’s exemplary hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume the role of Manager on Duty (MOD) during your shift, responding promptly to radio calls and addressing guest situations effectively.
  • Craft and execute plans aimed at elevating guest satisfaction and optimizing nightly operational efficiencies.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train overnight staff to maintain excellent customer service standards throughout the evening.
  • Oversee financial aspects associated with night operations, including managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Coordinate nighttime activities and swiftly resolve any issues or emergencies that arise after hours.
  • Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation requirements during evening operations.
  • Supervise the cleanliness and upkeep of resort facilities, focusing on night maintenance needs.
  • Gather and evaluate guest feedback pertinent to evening services and implement actionable improvements.
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest industry practices to foster continuous enhancement of night operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Proven track record in resort, hotel, or property management or a comparable setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a talent for motivating and developing team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration and guest engagement.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in hospitality management.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, perform under pressure, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
