About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain laboratory documentation, including quality and safety standard operating procedures, test protocols, and technical reports.

  • Support laboratory initiatives such as Tiers, Gemba, DMAIC, 5S practices, and data reviews.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field, or a Diploma with comparable relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of laboratory experience within a regulated pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical environment.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical and biochemical quality control techniques.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and laboratory quality management systems.
  • Competency in record-keeping, report preparation, and preliminary investigation of issues.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, including timely issue identification, reporting, resolution or escalation, and corrective measure implementation.
  • Good communication skills, teamwork capability, and effective organization of laboratory workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in shift patterns, including weekends when required.

  • Practical knowledge of assays like chromatography and ELISA.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis, investigations, and CAPA implementation.

  • Experience supporting audits or serving as a technical subject matter expert.
