Procurement Specialist

Job Overview

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing purchasing activities efficiently within the organization, focusing on timely execution of ERP-driven procurement processes, supplier coordination, and maintaining compliance with company and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchasing requests promptly using the ERP system to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Maintain accurate data within the ERP platform and support initiatives aimed at automating procurement workflows.
• Engage with suppliers to obtain quotations, ensuring optimal pricing and achieving the best IKTVA score alongside the Sourcing Manager.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries to guarantee on-time arrival and process payments accordingly.
• Collaborate with logistics for shipment arrangements and with the warehouse team to resolve cargo-related issues.
• Liaise with the global supply chain team and local sourcing manager to follow industry best practices globally.
• Partner with various internal departments to understand their requirements and enhance departmental key performance indicators.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance for both personal duties and supplier activities.
• Strictly comply with all corporate policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related area.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a comparable procurement role.
• Demonstrated procurement expertise is advantageous.
• Extensive use of ARM ERP system will be expected in this role.
• Previous experience in the oil and gas industry, including familiarity with relevant terminology, is preferred but not mandatory.

The position is based in Ras Al Khair, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
