Role Overview
This position is for an early-years teacher based in Siliguri, India. The role focuses on supporting the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of children in the 3 to 5 age group through structured, child-friendly learning experiences.
What the Role Involves
The teacher will design engaging lessons centered on play-based learning, keep the classroom safe and well-organized, and guide children’s behavior in a positive and age-appropriate manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver interactive activities that support early childhood development.
- Create a classroom environment that is safe, orderly, and conducive to learning.
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Use play-based methods to make learning engaging for young children.
- Manage student behavior with patience and suitable early-years strategies.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related discipline, along with a valid teaching certification or license for early childhood education. Prior experience with young children is also expected.
