Work Schedule and Salary

• Hourly wage of £13.68, paid monthly, with paid overtime opportunities.
• Working 32 hours and 5 minutes per week across a rotating schedule, including some weekends.
• Delivery shifts run approximately from 09:45 am to 4:45 pm, seven days a week between Monday and Sunday.
• Sunday work at the Kirkwall Delivery Office is required.

Role Demands

Candidate Profile

• Holds a full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points, registered under the current name and address.
• Capability and willingness to drive the Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically able to walk long distances, climb stairs or hills, and carry mailbags weighing 10kg or more.
• Reliable, self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently outdoors.
• A strong customer service focus with pride in delivering quality service.
