About the Role
Gowan Auto, the authorized importers and distributors of multiple automotive brands including Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, and Honda in Ireland, is looking to hire a Planning & Distribution Executive. This vital role supports our sales planning and distribution teams, working under the Head of Production and Planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly consolidated reports.
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual forecasts and production plans.
- Closely monitor the entire production journey from factory to dealer.
- Ensure sales performance data is accurate, consistent, and delivered on time across all reports.
- Act as a pivotal connection between the import operations and dealer network.
- Support day-to-day logistics activities and track key performance indicators.
- Manage stock levels through ordering and allocation processes.
- Keep updated records on new vehicle models for SIMI, Revenue, and internal system requirements.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Proven experience and insight into the automotive sector.
- Advanced IT proficiency, especially with Microsoft 365 and Excel, along with varied software tools.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities with an ability to meet strict manufacturer deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with multiple stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with prioritization skills to maintain a proactive work approach.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving talents.
- Capable of working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.
