This role sits within the sourcing division of a well-known global retailer. The team operates in a fast-moving environment and places strong emphasis on dependable supply chain execution.
About the role
In this position, you will oversee the full product development and production journey for ladieswear. Your work will span fabric development, sample coordination, vendor management, and final shipment readiness so that each buying season is delivered on schedule and to the expected quality standard.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of the development cycle from fabric identification and sample coordination through to production-ready approvals.
- Build and maintain vendor partnerships while negotiating commercial terms that support business goals and margin expectations.
- Monitor the production critical path, address delays, and help remove manufacturing issues that may affect shipment timing.
- Use PLM tools and advanced Excel functions to keep data accurate, track progress, and improve process efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in apparel sourcing is required.
- A bachelor’s degree is needed for this position.
