About the Role
Our client, a prominent company in the food and beverage distribution sector, seeks a diligent Order & Inventory Analyst to join their team based in Rosemont, IL. This position requires presence onsite four days a week and is offered as a six-month W2 contract including benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and promptly input forecasted orders, purchase orders, and necessary adjustments.
- Monitor inbound shipments to ensure timely arrival and collaborate with operations to keep inventory records precise.
- Confirm supplier order details and delivery schedules; investigate and resolve inconsistencies in inventory and sales data.
- Follow up on appointments, prepare detailed reports, and maintain variance documentation.
- Calculate pallet weights and determine truck loading capacity for outbound shipments.
- Update data anomalies including item numbers and SKUs and assist in resolving technical issues with supplier portals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of three years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or order and inventory analysis roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions like VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
- Experience using planning and inventory management systems such as Blue Yonder or SAP.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to handle extensive quantities of inventory and SKUs efficiently.
Preferred Background
- Experience within the food, beverage, or beer industries is advantageous.
