Medical Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to provide comprehensive support to doctors in managing daily patient appointments, medicine inventory, and order as well as courier operations. The successful candidate will need excellent coordination capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with scheduling and managing daily appointments, ensuring smooth patient consultation flow.
• Coordinate with patients for appointment timings, rescheduling, cancellations, and missed sessions.
• Keep precise records of appointments and patient interactions.
• Manage medicine inventory by regularly updating stock levels, tracking consumption and expiry dates, and facilitating prompt restocking.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of medicines, maintaining accurate logs of incoming and outgoing stock.
• Handle order processing post consultation including confirming order details with patients, preparing dispatches, coordinating with courier partners, and monitoring shipment status.
• Address basic customer communications related to medicine deliveries and maintain accurate documentation of orders, payments, and dispatches.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in roles such as medical assistant, clinic operations, pharmacy, or healthcare operations.
• Proficient communication and coordination abilities.
• Basic understanding of medicines and healthcare procedures.
• Comfortable using computers, including Excel or Google Sheets, and operational dashboards.
• Detail-oriented with the capacity to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to effectively liaise with doctors, patients, pharmacies, and courier services.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Ayurvedic clinics, pharmacies, healthcare startups, or online consultation services.
• Familiarity with medicine inventory management and order processing systems.
• Experience managing patient or customer communications via WhatsApp and phone.
