About the Role
Mercor, headquartered in San Francisco, bridges top creative and technical experts with innovative AI research labs. Backed by prominent investors, the company seeks a Journalism Evaluator to join their team remotely on a contract basis.
Role Responsibilities
- Assess AI-produced media content using specialized quality standards for the domain.
- Detect inaccuracies related to facts, visual appeal, and overall presentation quality.
- Deliver concise, well-structured written evaluations and feedback.
- Work alongside AI research teams to enhance the quality of training datasets and improve AI outcomes.
- Operate autonomously and manage asynchronous tasks effectively to meet project deadlines and contribute to model refinement.
Candidate Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience in media, journalism, or communications sectors.
- Fluency in English at native or professional levels.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with emphasis on presentation tools such as Google Slides and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of an advanced academic degree (Master’s or higher) from an esteemed institute is advantageous.
