About the Role
Mercor is a company that partners elite creative and technical professionals with top AI research institutions. Based in San Francisco, its investors include Benchmark, General Catalyst, and notable individuals such as Peter Thiel and Jack Dorsey.
We are seeking a Special Education / IEP Evaluator to join us on a contract basis, working entirely remotely. The compensation ranges from $80 to $120 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess AI-generated content using specialized quality criteria pertinent to the domain.
- Detect inaccuracies in facts, design elements, and overall presentation within various documents, including spreadsheets and slide decks.
- Deliver concise, organized written feedback aimed at enhancing AI model results.
- Utilize extensive expertise in Special Education and IEP processes to effectively evaluate outputs.
- Operate autonomously and asynchronously to fulfill deadlines and contribute to improving AI model quality.
Qualifications
Required:
- At least five years of professional experience in Special Education or with Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
- Native-level or professional proficiency in English communication.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications, particularly Google Slides.
Preferred:
- Possession of an advanced degree (Master's or greater) from a recognized institution.
