Role Overview

The Manager, Events & Office Experience is responsible for maintaining an optimal, orderly, and inviting environment at the Fort 940 facility for both internal team members (called SuCitta Warriors) and visitors. Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, this role oversees daily operations, events coordination, and guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspections across all Fort 940 areas to verify cleanliness, staging, and readiness of conference rooms and communal spaces.
  • Manage and enhance the experience of on-site amenities including Holos Bodyworks, Amplify Beauty, Beans & Berries, and Hoplite Collective.
  • Offer warm, professional reception to visitors ensuring an outstanding and memorable experience.
  • Handle ownership and oversight of facility-related contracts, warranties, and service agreements, tracking renewal dates diligently.
  • Assist in office space planning projects such as the Phase II and War Room redesign initiatives.
  • Supervise and guide the Office Coordinator, Hospitality Coordinator, and Receptionist.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of all Fort 940 social gatherings, holiday events, company-wide meetings, and special hospitality functions.
  • Develop event schedules and timelines; manage pre-event preparations, execution day activities, and post-event follow-up.
  • Organize holiday decoration procurement and oversee installation management.
  • Communicate event information effectively to employees through multiple channels while confirming accurate attendance numbers.
  • Coordinate setup and teardown of event spaces to ensure smooth transitions and flawless operation.
  • Arrange catering, lodging, transportation, and other logistics for guests, customer interactions, and company functions.
  • Manage and monitor event budgets with appropriate expense tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Communications department to integrate branding and graphic design support for events.
  • Conduct facility tours for visitors when requested.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior experience in hospitality, events management, or office administration is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Adept at working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Capability to move office equipment like chairs, tables, and boxes as needed.
