Job Summary
The Maintenance Officer position involves ensuring cleanliness and orderliness within the centre premises and classrooms, supporting safe management protocols, and assisting with deliveries when necessary.
Key Duties
- Perform cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and spot cleaning spills.
- Maintain cleanliness of desks, seats, whiteboards, doors, windows, and toilets, including replenishing toiletries.
- Empty and sanitize bins regularly.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Report any defects or hazards promptly to supervisors or caretakers.
- Assist in implementing safety management measures and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
- Support delivery handling when required.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a Class 3 driving license is mandatory.
- Willingness to work weekend shifts and varied shifts as needed.
- Capacity to travel between multiple centre locations.
- Good physical fitness to perform duties effectively.
- Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness.
- Strong time management skills with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Understanding of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
