Maintenance Officer

Job Summary

The Maintenance Officer position involves ensuring cleanliness and orderliness within the centre premises and classrooms, supporting safe management protocols, and assisting with deliveries when necessary.

Key Duties

• Perform cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and spot cleaning spills.
• Maintain cleanliness of desks, seats, whiteboards, doors, windows, and toilets, including replenishing toiletries.
• Empty and sanitize bins regularly.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Report any defects or hazards promptly to supervisors or caretakers.
• Assist in implementing safety management measures and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
• Support delivery handling when required.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a Class 3 driving license is mandatory.
• Willingness to work weekend shifts and varied shifts as needed.
• Capacity to travel between multiple centre locations.
• Good physical fitness to perform duties effectively.
• Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness.
• Strong time management skills with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Understanding of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
