Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Game Developer skilled in Python, C++, and Panda3D to work remotely on a contract basis. Your contributions will assist in training advanced AI systems by providing real-world, high-quality input, focusing on game development expertise rather than AI experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize your programming skills in Python and C++ to analyze and provide insightful feedback on interactive game development tasks.
- Employ the Panda3D engine to review code samples and game logic, suggesting improvements.
- Offer domain-specific examples to enrich AI understanding of contemporary game development workflows.
- Examine and resolve challenges related to game rendering, asset handling, and gameplay mechanics.
- Clearly document and articulate the rationale behind technical decisions to support AI training.
- Collaborate with a distributed team to deliver quality inputs that advance future AI technologies.
- Engage in multiple feedback iterations to enhance AI learning results.
Essential Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in Python programming within game development environments.
- Strong knowledge of the Panda3D engine and its application in building interactive 3D spaces.
- Familiarity with C++ and its role in game engine integration.
- Experience with GitHub for version control, code assessment, and collaborative development.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical ideas clearly.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong problem-solving approach.
