About the Role

The Instructional Designer is responsible for creating and developing instructional content that aligns with the learning goals and training strategies for employees at Arrow Child & Family Ministries. This role applies instructional design principles and eLearning development expertise to deliver engaging, effective learning solutions across various formats. The incumbent collaborates closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyze training needs, design and implement training programs, and assess their effectiveness.   • Produce supplementary resources like quick reference guides, FAQs, handouts, job aids, and guides for trainers and participants.
  • Stay updated on emerging instructional design techniques and technologies, applying relevant improvements to existing courses and processes.
  • Review and enhance the current course portfolio based on learner feedback, expert input, and compliance changes.
  • Manage course content within the agency's Learning Management System (LMS), resolving any content-related issues.
  • Ensure all instructional content complies with contractual, licensing, and accreditation regulations.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with social, educational, and human services resources accessible to participants and families.
  • Gain comprehensive understanding of all programs under Arrow Child & Family Ministries, embracing the organization’s culture and values.
