Human Resources Generalist

Overview

This position is for a Human Resources Generalist on a six-month contract with the possibility of extension or transition to full-time. The role supports the implementation and management of various HR functions, including training coordination, benefits administration, personnel policy development, and employee relations. This remote opportunity requires working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM CST with an hourly pay rate ranging between $20.00 and $28.98.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute company HR plans and processes, including developing and updating personnel policies and employee handbooks.
• Oversee compensation initiatives and monitor employee performance evaluation programs.
• Administer employee benefits, resolve claims, approve invoice payments, and communicate benefit details to staff.
• Develop and maintain affirmative action programs, including recordkeeping and reporting.
• Provide employee relations support, which may include counseling and conducting exit interviews.
• Maintain human resources information systems, ensuring employee records are accurate and confidential, and generate relevant reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, Business, or a related field.
• Certifications from the HR Certification Institute such as PHR, SPHR, or GPHR are advantageous.
