Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Hotel Manager to oversee comprehensive hotel operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role demands a focus on outstanding guest services, operational excellence, and strong financial performance while ensuring compliance with brand standards and Saudi regulations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead daily hotel operations encompassing Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Guest Services departments.
  • Continuously monitor service quality, proactively handling guest feedback to enhance satisfaction.
  • Implement and uphold operational standards, standard operating procedures, and brand guidelines.
  • Oversee financial aspects including revenue management, cost control, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance to review profit and loss statements, taking corrective measures as necessary.
  • Effectively manage manpower planning, staff scheduling, and productivity initiatives.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop hotel staff to foster high performance and engagement.
  • Ensure adherence to Saudi governmental regulations, municipal requirements, health and safety, and food safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Commercial, and Marketing teams to support promotional efforts and revenue optimization.
  • Supervise maintenance activities, asset management, and guarantee operational readiness of hotel facilities.
  • Contribute to pre-opening operations, renovation projects, and new initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver regular operational and performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Act as the hotel's representative in engagements with airport authorities, partners, and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or an equivalent discipline.
  • A substantial background of 10 to 15 years in hotel operations, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Comprehensive understanding of hotel functions, service excellence, and customer experience management.
  • Experience with airport hotel or related hospitality operations is considered advantageous.
  • Proven financial and commercial insight with experience overseeing budgets and P&L statements.
  • Demonstrated leadership prowess, people management ability, and staff development skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Fluent verbal and written English abilities, accompanied by obligatory Arabic proficiency.
