Overview

Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver in Sandbach, England. This full-time, on-site role suits someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and dealing with customers while out on the road. The hourly pay is £13.71.

Role purpose

The position focuses on delivering groceries efficiently and safely while representing the company at the customer’s door. You will be expected to provide a reliable, friendly service and help maintain a positive customer experience.

What the job involves

Load the van safely, including handling heavier items and following manual handling guidance.
Drive in a careful and compliant manner at all times.
Carry out checks on the van before use.
Make sure products reach customers in excellent condition.
Offer helpful and professional customer service during deliveries.
Support the store team with tasks when needed.
Work on your own initiative and organise your time well.
Be available for changing shift patterns between 6:00am and 11:00pm.

Who should apply

This opportunity is intended for candidates with a full driving licence that has been held for at least 3 years and carries no more than 6 penalty points.
