Job description

Overview

Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver in Sandbach, England. This full-time, on-site role suits someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and dealing with customers while out on the road. The hourly pay is £13.71.

Role purpose

The position focuses on delivering groceries efficiently and safely while representing the company at the customer’s door. You will be expected to provide a reliable, friendly service and help maintain a positive customer experience.

What the job involves

  • Load the van safely, including handling heavier items and following manual handling guidance.
  • Drive in a careful and compliant manner at all times.
  • Carry out checks on the van before use.
  • Make sure products reach customers in excellent condition.
  • Offer helpful and professional customer service during deliveries.
  • Support the store team with tasks when needed.
  • Work on your own initiative and organise your time well.
  • Be available for changing shift patterns between 6:00am and 11:00pm.
