Overview

Royal York Property Management is seeking a skilled Handyworker for its Florida operations. This role involves managing diverse maintenance duties and delivering high-quality handywork services to support property management activities. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise routine maintenance activities and process work orders promptly.
• Perform initial site inspections, document conditions through photographs, and upload these to work order systems.
• Handle deployment and installation of items specific to Royal York Property Management such as fire extinguishers, lock boxes, and real estate signage.
• Create new work orders when necessary and provide thorough assessments to the Maintenance Department.
• Execute supplementary maintenance tasks including key duplication, installation of door closers, lock replacements, TV mounting, and related duties.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School or an equivalent educational program.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in maintenance or handywork roles.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Capability to transport materials sized approximately 4 feet by 4 feet, such as plywood.
• Skillful in the use of hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with clear communication abilities.
• Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Ownership of an iPhone for conducting job-related communications.
• Detail-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
