Hays Recruitment is looking for a skilled and dependable maintenance operative to become part of an active construction project based in Macclesfield. This role offers a stable opportunity for experienced individuals seeking consistent assignments on a reputable site.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance tasks throughout the site.
- Perform basic joinery, patching, snagging, and finishing work.
- Adjust doors, ironmongery, and other fixtures as needed.
- Ensure quality repairs and finishings following other trades.
- Install and fix minor fixtures and fittings.
- Maintain site cleanliness and safety standards in work areas.
- Support site management with various practical duties.
- Identify and rectify minor defects promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating as a Maintenance Person, Multi-Skilled Operative, or Maintenance Operative.
- Hold a valid CSCS Card.
- Possess own hand tools and personal protective equipment.
