Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals for the role of General Cleaner to work Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 2 PM, at an industrial facility in Augusta, GA. This is a full-time, onsite position during the first shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum, mop floors, and clean various other surfaces throughout the building.
- Collect and dispose of trash appropriately.
- Maintain and service restrooms, ensuring cleanliness and supply availability.
- Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing agents according to specified guidelines.
- Move heavy equipment, furniture, or objects as required.
- Identify any maintenance or repair issues and report them promptly.
- Perform floor care tasks such as steam cleaning carpets, applying wax, and buffing floors when needed.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical endurance and manual dexterity necessary to perform cleaning duties.
- Ability to recognize safety hazards and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to work.
- Capable of following work schedules and maintaining commitments consistently.
- Ability to execute instructions provided by supervisors effectively.
- Maintain professionalism in all workplace interactions.
