1st Shift General Cleaner

Job Overview

Allegiance Industries, Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual for the role of 1st Shift General Cleaner. This full-time, onsite position is based in Fork Union, VA, supporting our educational facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Work Schedule

The shift runs Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and wiping all surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash efficiently and responsibly.
• Maintain and service restroom facilities to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
• Prepare and apply cleaning chemicals accurately as per instructions.
• Handle the movement of heavy furniture and equipment as necessary.
• Identify potential repair needs and communicate them appropriately.
• Conduct floor maintenance activities including steam carpet cleaning, waxing, and buffing when required.
• Complete other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.

• Physical endurance and agility to perform manual cleaning tasks.
• Keen awareness of safety risks and ability to report them to the correct personnel.
• Reliable means of transportation to attend work consistently.
• Capability to follow established schedules and meet job commitments.
• Ability to take directions and work under supervision.
