Position Overview
The Food and Consumables Team Associate role involves delivering outstanding customer service by embodying Walmart's core values, maintaining organized product displays, and supporting stock management and sales in the food and consumables department.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain organized product shelves, tables, and bunkers by zoning the department correctly.
- Ensure product rotation is followed and monitor for expired items.
- Verify that all merchandise is accurately priced and labeled.
- Comply with cold chain regulations including thermometer calibration, temperature documentation, food handling procedures, product rotation, and monitoring sell-by and expiration dates.
- Follow established protocols for ordering, clearance processes, pricing adjustments, and product labeling.
Additional Information
The starting pay rate for this position is $17.75 per hour.
Minimum Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
