Facility Housekeeper

Overview

Join U-Haul as a Facility Housekeeper where your organizational skills and attention to detail ensure a clean and welcoming environment for customers. This role contributes directly to maintaining U-Haul’s high service standards through cleaning and upkeep of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping of storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
• Manage the disposal of trash regularly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders when necessary.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational abilities and a proactive attitude.
• Motivated to learn and take initiative without supervision.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The position involves moderate risk factors, including working near machinery, exposure to fumes or chemicals, and the necessity of using protective gear such as masks, gloves, goggles, or shields. Physical demands include standing for long periods, moving outdoors, reaching objects at different heights, and lifting or moving equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
