Facility Housekeeper

Overview

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wipe down storage areas, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other facility spaces.
• Manage trash removal consistently to keep spaces clean.
• Keep an accurate record of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as necessary.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational capabilities.
• A proactive attitude with a readiness to learn new tasks.
• Ability to work independently as a self-motivated individual.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role requires adherence to safety protocols due to moderate risks such as interaction with machinery, exposure to fumes, or handling irritant chemicals. Use of personal protective equipment like masks, gloves, goggles, or shields may be necessary. Physical demands include standing for extended durations, mobility outdoors, reaching different heights, and lifting equipment up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
