Facilities Operative

Role Overview

The Facilities Operative is primarily responsible for delivering cleaning services within the production areas along with related tasks to uphold the condition of the facilities.

Reporting Line

This position reports directly to the Production Manager.

Working Hours

The role requires 39 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties in production zones and on machinery.
• Dispose of waste materials by emptying receptacles as needed.
• Maintain external and internal facility areas such as yards and windows.
• Keep the shipping and assembly zones clean and orderly by sweeping floors and regularly wiping benches.
• Uphold health and safety standards within production environments.
• Manage stock levels by ordering cleaning supplies and handling deliveries.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in commercial cleaning or facilities upkeep is preferred.
• Previous forklift driving or cleaning equipment operation experience is an advantage.
• Possession of a valid full driving license.
