Role overview
This position is for an Executive Level N in the Materials department, based in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The role sits within the supply chain function and focuses on ensuring smooth material movement, stock control, plant support, and operational discipline.
Qualification
The preferred educational background is a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
Experience
Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
Key responsibilities
- Manage inwarding of incoming materials.
- Support production activities by ensuring material availability.
- Oversee dispatch of finished goods.
- Coordinate and guide team members as needed.
- Handle contractual manpower deployment and supervision.
- Maintain asset care practices and sustain 5S standards.
- Track and control inventory levels.
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environment requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports.
- Address exceptions and resolve day-to-day issues effectively.
