Overview
We are seeking a Division President for a leading company based in Dallas or Houston, TX. This permanent, full-time position involves managing the performance, growth, and profitability of multiple sales centers within an assigned division. The role requires strategic leadership to enhance revenue, customer relationships, team development, and operational excellence aligned with long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily sales and operational functions of several Sales Centers to meet targets for revenue, profit, and market share.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership development for Sales Center Managers, Territory Managers, and sales teams to boost productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct financial analysis, including profit and loss review, inventory management, pricing adjustments, and market trend evaluation to support strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with operations leadership to enhance processes in warehouse management, delivery, inside sales, counter sales, showroom activities, and customer service.
- Design and implement regional growth strategies focused on customer acquisition and market expansion.
- Establish and nurture strong partnerships with dealers, contractors, vendors, and key clients.
- Assist with regional marketing efforts such as customer events, trade shows, open houses, and industry associations.
- Manage resolution of escalated customer issues, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and local leaders on recruitment, talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Promote a culture emphasizing accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the division.
Qualifications
- Five to ten years or more of leadership experience in operations specifically within the HVAC industry and related product lines.
- Proven track record of leading sales, driving operations, and enhancing profitability in a wholesale distribution setting.
- Ability to increase market share, revenue, and profit margin through strategic business planning.
- Experience in managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing sales and operations personnel.
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in interpreting profit and loss statements and key business metrics.
Additional Information
- Salary Range: $170,000 to $185,000 annually.
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, onsite in Dallas, TX or Houston, TX.
