  • Offer patients advice regarding their medication and direct queries to the pharmacist when necessary.
  • Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures to maintain safe and legal dispensing operations.
  • Stay updated on store innovations and follow operational procedures diligently.
  • Support patients in managing their prescriptions effectively, encouraging adherence, and reducing medication waste.

You will also engage with new dispensing technologies to improve safety and efficiency, freeing up more time for patient interaction.

Regular training updates will enhance your healthcare knowledge, with opportunities to progress towards Pharmacy Technician qualifications or leadership roles within the store.

Candidate Requirements

  • Completion of Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 qualification or equivalent, or progression through the first year of an MPharm program.
  • Possession of current and valid UK work authorization; note this role does not support Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in community pharmacy environments is advantageous but not mandatory.

Hourly pay starts at £13.92, potentially rising to £16.64 in select London locations.

Benefits

  • Discretionary Christmas gift payment.
  • Generous employee discounts.
  • Enhanced parental leave pay and gifts for expecting or adopting employees.
  • Flexible benefits options tailored to individual needs.
  • Access to 24/7 confidential counseling and support services through an Employee Assistance Program.
