Role Overview
The Director of Partner Impact leads a regional portfolio of partner relationships driving successful outcomes and renewals. This leadership role involves developing strategies, managing senior accounts, and guiding a team of Partner Impact Managers who handle on-the-ground partnerships. The director acts as an executive liaison, managing escalations and ensuring the health of the Partner Impact region by holding the team accountable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a large regional partner portfolio focused on performance and contract renewals.
- Develop and implement regional strategies for partner engagement and success.
- Supervise Partner Impact Managers responsible for daily partner relations.
- Address executive-level issues and foster relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Ensure overall partner satisfaction and outcome achievement within the region.
- Engage with senior leaders across health systems, government programs, and employer benefits to advance partnership goals.
- Incorporate data-driven storytelling to enhance team reporting and presentations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Clinical, Sales, and Operations to align partner requirements with organizational direction.
- Create impact narratives for board members, investors, and external audiences.
- Recruit and develop mission-aligned talent for the Partner Impact team.
- Perform additional related responsibilities as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven ability to build or scale partner impact functions beyond management roles.
- Experience in mission-driven environments balancing rigor and impact, such as nonprofit or healthcare consulting, public-sector transformation, or healthtech.
- Credibility with diverse audiences, including health system executives and community health workers.
- Strong systems thinking and capacity to create sustainable solutions across portfolios.
- Expertise in data-based storytelling for impactful reporting and presentations.
- Effective people leadership raising team performance standards.
- Exceptional written and verbal communicator with attentive listening skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or Business Administration preferred.
- Over 10 years in consulting, nonprofit strategy, or public-sector leadership, with minimum 3 years managing teams.
- Experience leading partner-facing initiatives for nonprofits, government, or public health clients.
- Proven track record in building significant community, population, or health equity programs.
- Ability to translate complex data for executive audiences effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
