About EDETEK and Role Overview
EDETEK Inc. is seeking a meticulous Data Entry Operator to assist in clinical data processing efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for precise data entry, thorough review, and upkeep of data in alignment with predefined protocols, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely completion of assigned workloads. This position requires someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable performing repetitive tasks with a strong focus on accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Input data accurately and promptly into company systems and databases.
- Examine source documents to confirm completeness and detect any discrepancies.
- Validate entered data and address inconsistencies when needed.
- Preserve data integrity by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work guidelines.
- Collaborate with Quality Control (QC) teams to resolve data concerns.
- Monitor assigned tasks and achieve productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Support document organization, data validation processes, and record keeping.
- Report any data quality issues or procedural problems to supervisors.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to boost operational efficiency.
- Undertake additional operational tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry, administrative assistance, operations, or related areas.
- Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to maintaining data accuracy.
- Strong skills in organization and time management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Capability to work independently in a remote work setup.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in healthcare, clinical research, life sciences, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with electronic data capture (EDC) tools or clinical databases.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or quality management standards.
- Experience handling large data sets.
