Role Responsibilities

• Purchase necessary materials and equipment aligned with corporate policies.
• Perform repairs and upkeep of center facilities, including tasks like changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks, and escalating maintenance issues as required.
• Carry out monthly safety inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.
• Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Participate actively in Safety Committee meetings.
• Coordinate scheduling of maintenance and repair work.
• Manage cleaning schedules for AWARE facilities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Substantial understanding of general janitorial procedures and maintenance practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to perform repairs and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse staff members.
• Possession of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years experience in maintenance roles.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an hourly wage of $24.00.
