Role Responsibilities

Purchase necessary materials and equipment aligned with corporate policies.
Perform repairs and upkeep of center facilities, including tasks like changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks, and escalating maintenance issues as required.
Carry out monthly safety inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.
Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Participate actively in Safety Committee meetings.
Coordinate scheduling of maintenance and repair work.
Manage cleaning schedules for AWARE facilities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Substantial understanding of general janitorial procedures and maintenance practices.
Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to perform repairs and develop cost-effective solutions.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse staff members.
Possession of a High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of three years experience in maintenance roles.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an hourly wage of $24.00.
