Role Overview
The Contracts Management Consultant is responsible for overseeing service contracts from initiation to completion, ensuring all contractual terms are adhered to while supporting procurement and legal processes within the organization.
Primary Duties
- Administer and manage service-related contracts effectively.
- Track contractor adherence to contract obligations.
- Assess contract performance including key performance indicators.
- Liaise with procurement and legal departments to align contract processes.
- Compile detailed reports and offer recommendations regarding contracts.
- Assist in tender assessment processes and contract renewals.
- Identify potential contract risks and suggest appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Organize and maintain comprehensive contract documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Participate in contract negotiation sessions when necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor's qualification in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Bring at least five years of relevant experience in contract management.
- Preferably experienced with government or major corporate contracts.
- Have a strong grasp of procurement processes and contract administration.
- Exhibit excellent analytical, negotiation, and report-writing capabilities.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
