Cafe Tawi Tadka is dedicated to serving fresh, authentic North Indian cuisine with an emphasis on genuine flavors and quick service, catering to takeaway and online customers across Noida.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and self-sufficient Commis/Cook to independently oversee the preparation of North Indian dishes, manage order processing, and ensure smooth kitchen and delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare daily mise en place including chopping and ingredient preparation without supervision.
Cook North Indian specialties such as Dal, Chawal, Sabzi, and Puris according to standard recipes and specifications.
Maintain consistent flavor profiles, portion control, and food presentation quality.
Efficiently process live orders for dine-in, takeaway, and online platforms, specifically Zomato and Swiggy.
Ensure timely and secure packing of food for delivery orders.
Monitor delivery order statuses using Merchant Apps or POS systems.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations following hygiene protocols and food safety standards (including HACCP basics).
Inspect food ingredients to verify freshness and store items properly to minimize waste.

Candidate Requirements

1 to 3 years practical cooking experience with North Indian cuisine; experience in Quick Service Restaurants, Cloud Kitchens, or Cafes preferred.
Fresh culinary graduates with strong foundational training are also encouraged to apply.
Minimum education of 10th pass; Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts or Catering Technology is advantageous.
Solid knowledge of Indian spices and North Indian cooking techniques.
Good hand-eye coordination for rapid order assembly and packaging.
Basic competency with smartphone applications, especially food delivery merchant apps like Zomato and Swiggy.
Ability to work independently without close supervision.
