CAD Revit BIM Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a CAD / Revit / BIM Engineer to be based at our Head Office in Loughrea, County Galway. This role offers a competitive salary and involves working within an ambitious and expanding engineering company specializing in sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure solutions across Ireland and the UK.

Qualifications and Experience

• Third-level qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, or a strong trades background combined with BIM certification
• At least 3 years of experience in a BIM coordination role
• Background in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines with proven success in similar roles
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation and coordination of multi-disciplinary models, drawings, and schedules
• Ensure design development aligns with project BIM execution plans through regular coordination and model verification
• Act as liaison between Mechanical & Electrical and Civil & Structural design teams
• Produce and maintain the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) throughout projects
• Participate in design and drawing reviews and support feasibility assessments
• Collaborate with project teams to define requirements and deadlines
• Generate drawings based on engineering instructions with minimal supervision
• Support and mentor the CAD team, expanding knowledge in CAD tools and software
